March was a great month at the Fratellanza club.
We started with our February Crab feed. On Saturday February 25 over 350 guests enjoyed a good time with good friends and great crab. Sunday March 5th was another great Crab Feed. Over 200 guests had a great time with Great Crab. Both the regular raffle and 50/50 raffles were a big hit. We really had a nice evening. Many people make both crab feeds a success – Thank you, to our cooks, Art, Michele, Angelo, & Alfonso; Bartender’s, Rich, Sante, Gianfranco, John, & Ralph. Thank you to our Volunteer waiters Rose Marie, Clair, Loretta, Jerry, Adrianna, Lee, Louie, Renee, Francesca, Jim, Sally, Tyler, Jim, Lisa, Alan, Marc, Diane, & Evan. Our Vice Presidents, Rich Vila & John Barassi. Thanks also to Joe Scodella, Mr. 50/50 Bob Porta, John Pelosi, & Tyler Tomei. A big thanks to all that donated raffle prizes. Thanks also to Rose Marie Gish, who coordinated the wait staff, and thank you to all who helped set up for both dinners. Thank you all very much. A special thank you to Rich Giaramita. Rich took all the reservations, the last minute changes & got everyone seated correctly for both events. Trust me, this is no small job. Rich put in many hours to make both events a success. Thank you, Rich, for all your time & effort.
The first birthday dinner was a great meal of pasta with pesto & corned beef & cabbage. Our dinner chairmen, Grant & Drew Woodruff & crew did a great job of getting us all served. It was nice to see 3 generations of the Woodruff family on the floor. Thank you to our cooks, Art Parziale, Evan Matthews & Alfonso DePianto.
Our 2nd birthday dinner was our annual Polenta dinner, which was chaired, as usual, by Anthony Golden. Anthony & his wait staff did a great job. The polenta was fabulous. Thank you to our Cooks, Michele Gasparro, Angelo Marchi & Lonnie Chase.
