Membri della Fratellanza,
As February draws to a close, I am happy to announce that for January our Dinner total was over 450 drive-thru, and the Lunch drive- thru was over 250. In February we had over 450 for our drive-thru
Crab Feed! As I am writing this we still don’t have what our total will be for the February Lunch drive-thru, but hoping to have no less than 200. Our Raffle winner in January was Joe Ceilo, who has donated his winnings back to the Club and he also worked the Crab Dinner; thanks Joe for you help and donation! Our February Raffle winner was Jeff Gary, who donated his winning to both clubs, thanks Jeff from the Fratellanza and Ligure clubs. Also to let all men & women know that our Dinner in March is on the 13th and we will be having Bucatini Pasta with Pesto, and our March staple of Corned Beef & Cabbage, please remember to get your reservations in early so we can get enough food for all. Our cooks Don & Bob with their helpers have been a Fantastic Job of giving you the Best Food, which goes for Most Restaurants, let alone of all the Italian Clubs in the entire Bay Area, I am proud to say. Lastly I can’t tell you yet what we are having for our Friday lunch on March 26th, the Luncheon committee is still working on having something special which will be announced next week.
Che voi siete benedetti e Dio vi benedica nella vostra vita.
May you be blessed, and God bless you in your lifetime.
Hello Fratellanza Family,
I see the light at the end of the tunnel. To use another cliché, I can see the hump ahead and after we get over it, it will be all downhill after that. I am referring to the pandemic. I know that Dr. Fauci can’t predict the future but it looks like we will be safe by the end of this summer. I am getting my second shot in early March and the supply is finally catching up to the demand. I know that we will be probably wearing masks into 2022 but I’ve made plans to go to Italy May 2022. We need to look ahead with optimism.
We will have to wait for the county health department to tell us when we can reopen our Club. For now we are making plans to continue with the Drive Thru events until August. We will keep our eyes open and, when the time comes, we will give the Club a thorough cleaning and get people back for meals, parties, bocce and more. For now, get your vaccination and stay safe.
I hope this message finds all of you maintaining good health & safety. During this Covid-19 pandemic, we have had to keep our club closed to ensure everyone’s safety. We are hoping that when the time is right we can reopen our doors for everyone’s enjoyment.
Maintaining our Italian traditions & continuing to make the memories we cherish, we are hoping we can count on you, our valued members, to pay your 2021 membership dues of $150. In order to keep the doors open to our beloved Fratellanza Club, it is important that we all support our club by paying your 2021 membership dues. This will enable us to become up & running when the time is safe to do so.
On December 12, once again we will have another delicious drive-by dinner of pasta, turkey, & vegetables. If you are able to help us & pay your 2021 dues that day at the club, your drive-by dinner will be free. You can also do this at our January drive-by dinner if you choose, either way your dinner will be free upon 2021 dues payment either of these two events.
We, the Officers and Board, hope we can count on all of you to maintain your club membership so that we can once again enjoy all the good times that our club provides. Thank you for your consideration. We hope all of you have Happy Holidays & may God bless all of you.
