The Fratellanza Club is currently seeking single young ladies between the ages of 16 to 25 to represent our club in the upcoming Columbus Day Queen Contest, to be held this summer. A Queen will be selected and all remaining contestants will become Princesses for the year. The Queen and Princesses are sponsored by the Clubs of the Italian American Federation of the East Bay.
All candidates must be of Italian descent and may be a daughter, granddaughter, great granddaughter, niece, cousin or any female relative of any member of the Fratellanza Club or the Fratellanza Women’s Social Club.

We had a fantastic 2nd birthday dinner in February. Our Pork Roast was delicious. Thank you to our cooks, Don Nicole, Angelo Marchi & Vito Muscrdian, who also doubled as our dinner chairman.
A sellout crowd attend our first Crab feed. We had a great time and the crab was great. Our cooks Michele Gasparro, Angelo Marchi, & Vito Muscardin did a great job. Our wait staff was fantastic. Our bartenders, Rich, Ralph, Sante & Gianfranco, did a terrific job taking care of over 450 guests. Thank you all.
Our second crab feed was just as fantastic. More great crab, and as always, more great fun, with family & friends at the Fratellanza. Thank you to our cooks, Michele Gasparro & Vito Muscardin. I would like to thank our wait staff & bartenders, who did a great job. Thank you also to all who helped set up for both of these events. I truly appreciate your time and efforts.

Our first birthday dinner in March featured corned beef & cabbage. It was excellent. Thank you to our cooks, Angelo Marchi, Evan Matthews & Vito Muscardin. Thank you to our dinner chairmen, Grant & Drew Woodruff and the entire wait staff.

January continued with our annual Banga Cauda diner. All in attendance had a great time. Thanks go to our cooks, Don Nicole & Angelo Marchi. It was great as usual.
Our second birthday dinner was our Polenta dinner. Our dinner chairman, once again, was Anthony Golden. Thank you Anthony. The polenta was fantastic! Thank you to our cooks, Art Parziale, Angelo Marchi & Lonnie Chase.
We ended the month with our 86th anniversary dinner. The dinner was delicious. Thank you to our cooks, Art Parziale, Don Nicoli & Vito Muscardin. It was great to walk through the Fratellanza history display, lovingly set up by Club Historian Gianfrancio Sciacero. There were pictures and memorabilia from our club past up to the present. It is really terrific. Thank you Gianfranco. The evening was capped by awarding the Fratellanza Club award of Merit to Evan Matthews. Congratulations Evan on a well deserved award. I would like to thank Rich Giaramita for his many hours of work & attention to detail that helped make this night a success. Thanks also to the Women’s club for being our wait staff for the evening & help with setting up and decorating the room, which looked great.

Our Family dinner was a fun evening. We had a fantastic dinner highlighted by delicious Italian Pot Roast cooked to perfection by our cooks, Art Parziale & Lonnie Chase. Great job guys. Thanks to our dinner chairmen Ralph & Joan Brignone & their team. They had games for the kids, which added to the fun of the evening. Thank you all.
