From the Chairman – November 2023

Hello all,

With the holidays fast approaching, I would like to remind everyone we will be asking for donations for our annual Turkey Drive for the Alameda County Food Bank. Please consider donating to help those in need.

Also, the decorating committee is hard at work preparing to decorate our club for the holidays the Saturday after Thanksgiving. All are welcome to come down and help. If you are interested in helping, please contact me at 510-386-4848. Thank you in advance.

Have a safe & happy Thanksgiving everyone.

Ciao,
Russel Carrel

From our President – November 2023

Hello all,

We are in the last few weeks of October & there is still plenty of activities going on at your club! By the time you read this our Octoberfest, a la Ralph Brignone, will be over and shortly thereafter we will be attending the joint Fratellanza / Ligure Clubs co-sponsored Rat Pack Dinner Show on October 28th which sold out 1 month early.

On November 7th we will have our election of Officers and Board members at our monthly meeting so please plan on attending & get involved. We will be discussing our calendar of events for next year & we would love to hear about what activities you would be interested in having. If you are there you can express your wants & wishes.

We may or may not be having a New Year’s Eve Party. Continue following the newsletter for updates.

On November 16th we will be hosting a Military & First Responders dinner. This is a great way to show the respect our military & first responders deserve so please plan on attending this dinner.

Remember the 17th of December is our children’s Christmas party & there is nothing like looking into the eyes of our children & grandchildren as Santa provides a gift & listens to their questions.

If you have not attended one of these lately you owe it to yourself to attend & join in the festivities.

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday weekend with your family & friends. Life as we know it is pretty short, so make the time to be with those you love & enjoy being thankful with.

Respectfully,
Ron Blair
