Hello everyone and Happy Thanksgiving:
It’s that time of year when the house is filled with wonderful smells of Thanksgiving everything & Christmas anything. It’s that time of year when we reflect how great it was growing up with a big family & the many enjoyable memories of childhood, those wild teen
age years & then the responsibility of a family. I feel blessed to have the family I have and I truly hope each of you has those same wonderful memories where we can give thanks for what we have, where we have come from & where we are going.
The last month has been a blur of activity and the next month will be the same. For those of you who missed the Rat Pack Dinner Show, it was a wonderful event enjoyed by all that attended. My special thanks to Gianfranco Sciacero who set up all the tables & chairs then put them back in place the following morning. Thank you to
Sherri Nichelman who donated all of those fabulous desserts. So many
people helped to make it a success, however, both Gianfranco & Sherri, I want to personally thank you for all that you do.
Moving onto November the themed Veterans & First Responders dinner
was a very enjoyable evening. We were blessed to have four of our finest from Travis Air Force Base attend with presentation of colors and they stayed for dinner and ate everything that was on a platter. A truly wonderful evening where thanks were given to our brave military & the many who comprise our first responders family who go into trouble instead of running away from it. We are a blessed country.
On Sunday December 3rd we will be having our Christmas Brunch a la Jeff Nelson with a special thanks to Art Parziale who hosted this event for years. You really do not want to miss this wonderful opportunity to bring your family for a great brunch, perhaps some
silly camaraderie & a great way for your family to continue the holiday spirit.
Our Christmas Family Dinner is December 9th, Children’s Christmas
Party is Sunday, December 17th & our members only Christmas Dinner is Thursday December 21st; remember your dues on this evening, a great way to enjoy each others company & pay your 2024 dues so we do not have to remind you……..
Lastly we will be ending the year with our New Years Eve party where you have an opportunity to reflect on the good, the bad & the ugly of 2023. Then, think about What you are going to do to make 2024 a better year for all of us. Remember, it’s not what the Fratellanza Club can do for you, it’s what you can do for the Fratellanza Club.
Now go out there and do the right thing, it’s the right thing to do.
God bless all of you,
