Hello to all:
Well it’s that time of year where you get to snuggle under the covers at night & think about all the great activities that February has to offer at your Club. We have the Super Bowl & Valentine’s Day coming up, so do not forget to do something nice & romantic for your wife or significant other.

We want to welcome three new members to our Board of Directors, Ralph Brignone, Don Nicoli and Dave Gibson. We also want to thank outgoing Board members, Bob Porta, Roger Laurel and Bill Jones for their years of dedicated service on the Board & to the club.

This year we will have a few challenges; However, that’s how we roll. We have great opportunities to capture success on many different things & this Board will be very effective helping with Club administration.

Looking at our calendar for February our first birthday dinner is February 1st; When this happens this kind of sneaks up on us so please remember as we end January that we will immediately have a birthday dinner on February 1.

February marks the beginning of our Crab feeds. Again, this year we have two scheduled; Our first is Saturday, February 24th. Our second is Sunday, March 3rd. Get your groups together & make your reservations
early as this years crab yield has been reported to be the best crab in several years. Sunday’s crab feed, we will be adding a silent auction in addition to our regular raffle & our 50/50 raffle; There will be some special items to bid on so let’s have some fun & support our Club.

Looking forward, March madness is not limited to basketball & our “joint” anniversary celebration is Saturday, March 16th, so please plan to attend this year where camaraderie is large; fun & friendship is everywhere.

Now, go out there and do the right thing, after all, it’s the right thing to do.
